Who We Are

Victor Olumide Dania attended the Loughborough University of Technology, UK from where he graduated with a Bachelor of Technology degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1972, following which he joined the Shell Petroleum Development Company, SPDC.

Victor retired from SPDC in 2008 after 36 years working experience in various areas of the Company’s business, in Nigeria and the Netherlands.

While in Shell, he held several senior management positions in Project Management, Engineering, External Relations and Operations retiring as GM Engineering (Corporate).

On retirement, he incorporated AVODAN Project & Engineering Services Ltd in 2008.

Victor is a Fellow Nigerian Society of Engineers (FNSE), Fellow Nigeria Academy of Engineering (FAEng.) Fellow Mentoring and Career Development Institute of Nigeria (FMCDI) and a Registered Professional Engineer (COREN).

Bernard Oboarekpe is a graduate of Chemical Engineering from the University of Ife, Nigeria, and MBA from the University of Northampton, United Kingdom.

Bernard started his engineering career in 1981 at the Ajaokuta Iron and Steel Company Limited, and later joined Shell Petroleum Development Company Limited in 1986. He worked in Shell in various capacities in Nigeria and The Netherlands for over 31 years, and retired as Well Engineering Manager in 2017. He has continued to be active in the Industry.

He is a member of The Society of Petroleum Engineers International (SPEI), He is a Fellow of the  Nigeria Society of Chemical Engineers (FNSChE) and a member of  the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE). He is also a member of SPE Nigeria Council Board of Trustees (BOT).

Bayo Olarewaju-Alo attended the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University) where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering in 1977.

Bayo retired from the Shell Petroleum Development Company Limited in 2011 after 33 years working experience in Nigeria, UK and the Netherlands. He held several senior management positions in Development, Operations, Project and Engineering. He joined AVODAN in 2012 as partner and Principal Consultant.

Engr Olarewaju-Alo is a Member Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), Fellow Nigerian Society of Chemical Engineers (FNSChE), Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (FNSE), Fellow Nigeria Academy of Engineering (FAEng.) and a Registered Professional Engineer (COREN).

Rotimi Ajayi attended the University of Lagos, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering in 1982. He joined the Shell Petroleum  Development Company Limited in 1984, where he worked for 31 years, both in Nigeria and the Netherlands. He held several management positions in Planning, Development, Project Engineering, Asset / Field Engineering, Discipline Engineering and Technical Audit / Governance, and with proper exposure to the full range of opportunity development lifecycle – Feasibility / Concept Engineering, FEED / Design, Construction & Commissioning, Operations, Asset Integrity and Process Safety.

Rotimi is a member of Nigerian Society of Engineers (MNSE) and a Fellow of Nigerian Society of Chemical Engineers (FNSChE).
